As an IT Audit Senior Manager at Assurity, you will play a critical role in protecting our technological assets and ensuring robust governance practices are in place across various governmental organizations.

**A brief summary of your job responsibility**:

- Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of IT audits across various government agencies.
- Develop, implement, and enhance audit methodologies, frameworks, and methodologies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Direct the assessment of organizational risks, internal controls, and information security protocols to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage audit interactions, including the creation of reports for stakeholders, conducting fieldwork, and ensuring compliance with audit recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective mitigation strategies against identified risks.
- Mentor and guide audit team members, providing support in their professional development.
- Coordinate and manage outsourced audit functions to ensure comprehensive audit coverage and quality assurance.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in IT governance, risk management, and compliance, and proactively incorporate these into the audit strategy.

**Requirements**:

- At least 8 years of proven experience in IT auditing, governance, and risk management, with a solid understanding of IT frameworks.
- In-depth knowledge of information security principles, risk assessment, and compliance standards.
- Experience with audit frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, and ITIL.
- Proficiency in assessing ICT policies, including IM8 or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to provide strategic recommendations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Recognized professional qualifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or equivalent certifications.
- A collaborative mindset with a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
