We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an **Associate Director, Transactional FX - Global Banking and Markets.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- HSBC’s Transactional FX business offers overarching FX solutions for cross border payables & receivables by seamlessly combining FX and Payments products leveraging technology. TFX focuses on the risk management and processing of flows with high volume of low value transactions. The role holder will ensure the HSBC values are present in everything we do, both individually and as an organization
- Execute Transactional FX growth strategy in Asia driving volume, profitability and strategy awareness through client acquisition and internal stakeholder management
- Assist regional head to drive a sound, regional ‘go to market’ strategy for the client facing TFX proposition, with effective management of sales pipeline
- Drive origination of new TFX client relationships and manage client onboarding from inception to go-live
- Build strong pipeline of clients in partnership with key stakeholders within MSS, Global Banking, Commercial Banking and Global Liquidity & Cash Management
- Manage client queries and concerns in a timely & effective manner
- Contribute to strategic initiatives & product development roadmap
- Assist with the design, implementation & commercialisation of TFX ecosystems with external industry partners
- Assist with the rationalisation of TFX architecture in Asia, with globally consistent approach
- Conduct teach-ins and raise awareness of TFX solutions across Asia and within global TFX team
- Coordinate with global counterparts to ensure commercialisation strategy is synergised and effectively executed
Requirements- Good understanding of FX, Payments, APIs & related technology, along with regulatory environment across Asia
- Good understanding of TFX growth opportunities: client base, sectors and markets
- Demonstrable experience in business development, origination, client onboarding & delivering strategic initiatives
- Problem solver with the ability to create and deliver apt solutions
- A driven & proactive team player with the ability to perform in an entrepreneurial environment with limited supervision
