The role

This role involves supporting the sales team in areas of operational and administrative tasks which includes understanding of customers’ requirements, qualifying of sales enquiries, generation of quotations and order fulfilment/closures.

Key accountabilities

Support sales team by servicing existing clients in the areas of logistics arrangement and preparing all related documentations
Handle and resolve different customers’ requirements and complaints promptly and independently. Prepare sales orders, purchase orders, delivery orders, invoices, credit notes, etc. in the system and maintain proper filing of these documents.
Ensuring completion of sales administrative process by preparing quotations for customers and update list of sales and purchase order
Ensure all shipments are accomplished on schedule. Prepare and submit regularly scheduled reports in a timely and accurate manner
Accurately updating/ recording financial system database for all sales related transactions.
Facilitate sales support engagement by updating potential leads to sales team and assist in following up with run-rate quote.

Skills & experience
- Certificate/ Diploma in Business or equivalent
- 2 working years’ minimum with sales administrative related background
- Proficient in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
- Customer-oriented
- Able to work independently and under tight deadlines
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer creative solutions
- Great interpersonal and communications skills and team player
- Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Able to work meticulously with a sense of urgency
- Experience in coordinating with vendors and internal logistics team will be a plus point.
