**Job Duties and Qualifications**:

- Under direct supervision, applies functional requirements and uses engineering tools to design electronic circuits or control systems for product changes or new developments
- Identifies the testing objectives at a component level per Halliburton's Health, Safety, and Environment procedures and evaluates test results
- Assists in preparing component specifications, follows work processes to document designs, and assists in the preparation of material for design reviews
- Collaborates with mentors to understand the basic content required to submit an invention disclosure and recognizes ideas that have IP potential without disclosing confidential information
- Works effectively as a team member by communicating clearly and efficiently to provide innovative solutions. Takes the initiative to go beyond what situations require and focuses on attention to detail by making sure that work is done correctly, completely, and to the highest standards

**Long Description**:
**Key Responsibili**t**ies**:

- Design, simulation, and implementation of high-temperature electronic systems, encompassing component selection, qualification, and PCB assembly practices
- Functional and qualification testing of the designed PCB boards and sub-assemblies
- Preparation of technical reports and presentations

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:
**Requirements**:

- Skills acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
- Basic knowledge of various filters, amplifier topologies, and architecture
- Ability to perform simulations to verify designs.
- Basic knowledge of ADC, DAC, LDO, and switching power supply topologies.
- Working knowledge in commonly used circuit simulators, such as LTSPICE, etc.
- Experience in using lab equipment, such as oscilloscope, etc
- Experience in common PCB design CAD tools, such as Siemens PADS, is an advantage
- Experience in MATLAB and LABVIEW is an advantage
