Business Sweden is an organization that is 50% owned by the Swedish state and 50% by the Swedish business sector. It supports and promotes Swedish exports and investments. Our office in Singapore focuses not only on the Singaporean market but also on the wider South and Southeast Asia region, with additional offices in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

As a Consultant at Business Sweden, you will participate in and lead projects that focus on market expansion, sales support, and stakeholder analysis. You'll also work on platform projects, where you will help orchestrate a comprehensive Swedish offering that includes various solution providers, academia, and state actors aimed at larger business deals.

Your role will encompass both strategic, tactical, and operational responsibilities, such as:

- Representing Business Sweden as a trusted advisor and helping clients find solutions to their most pressing challenges
- Delivering consulting projects across various sizes and industries to support Swedish companies in their international business development and expansion plans. This includes ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations
- Developing deep insights in 1-2 industry areas based on your prior expertise.
- Assisting senior colleagues in defining project and platform concepts, as well as establishing direction, objectives, scope, and timelines
- Independently, and in collaboration with senior colleagues, driving client discussions and taking on full sales cycle responsibilities, including monitoring leads, developing a pipeline, and creating project scopes, proposals, and cost estimates
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through consistent communication, understanding their needs, and tailoring solutions accordingly

**This role is based in Singapore,** but you will be expected to work with our teams and clients internationally as needed.

**Formal requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Engineering
- At least 3 years of working experience as a consultant, preferably in a management consultancy or other relevant areas like supply chain, go-to-market, customer experience. A background working with trade promotion within organizations such as EBD and ESG is also relevant.
- Experienced in managing work streams independently
- Experienced in market analysis and research, in participating in lead generation and involvement in client dialogues
- A high level of proficiency in both written and spoken English
- Results-oriented, highly analytical, and adaptable
- Social and team-working skills are highly valued as well as an ability to handle new challenges
