Ml 11474 - Security Engineer - Threat Prevention

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide technical consulting for Threat Prevention (Web Proxy) solutions, traffic analysis, and the design of proxy policies and firewall/load balancing policies.
- Participate in the build, migration, and global rollout of Threat Prevention infrastructure.
- Collaborate with project teams, managing multiple engagements and deadlines.
- Serve as a Level 3 escalation point for complex incidents and change implementations related to Threat Prevention domains.
**Required Skills**:
- Min 7 years of experience in large-scale network/DMZ environments.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with McAfee WebGateway network web proxies or content filtering technologies.
- Experience with proxy PAC file engineering, firewall policies, DLP, malware scanning, and load balancing.
- Proficiency in networking and network security protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, FTP, PAC files, DNS, NTP, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills, including traffic analysis and log reviews.
- Experience with Splunk for data reporting and dashboarding.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
**Desired Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Experience with Web Content Filtering and Threat Prevention technologies (e.g., Bluecoat, F5, FireEye, VMware NSX).
- Familiarity with proxying technologies (WCCP, explicit/transparent proxies).
- Knowledge of authentication protocols (LDAP, Kerberos, SSO, Active Directory).
- Professional certifications in network security (e.g., CCNA Security, CISSP, CEH) are a plus.
