MEDIC / EMT

Operating a fleet of EAS Ambulances that is deployed across Singapore for various conveyances / standbys / events, Hope is looking for medics on a contract or full-time basis. Hope provides professional training for medics to progress into higher levels in the industry. We can train and certify EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) to be a professional Medic operating in an ambulance. We also provide various courses and CME for medics to maintain currency and to keep abreast with industry standards, as well as to ensure acquisition of new skills that will allow our crew to render better care for patients. As a medic, you are expected to provide care for patients in an ambulance.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assess injuries and administer emergency medical care for patient at scene or in ambulance during conveyance
- Administer first aid treatment or life support care in pre-hospital setting, as instructed by the Paramedic
- Comfort and reassure patient while monitoring patient progress and response to treatment
- Check and maintain medical supplies and equipment on-board the ambulance, to be operationally-ready for medical and trauma emergencies
- May be assigned to other projects/locations based upon operational needs

**Position Requirements**
- Accredited EMT certification will be an advantage
- At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Entry Level specialized in Healthcare - Nurse/Medical Support & Assistant or equivalent.
- Good verbal skills to comfort patients and relay information, as well as the ability to write well in English.
- Ability to speak multiple languages or dialects an advantage.
- Quick in using WA and Phone calls for communications with on-ground crew
- Physically fit and able to commit to irregular shift-work, including weekends and public holidays
