Job Purpose

The primary responsibility will be the management and coordination of the corporate governance activity of AVEVA’s entities in the APAC region. The post holder will act as the principal point of contact for company secretarial matters related to the entities in the region.

Dimensions

The Governance Assistant, APAC is a key member of the Company Secretariat team which has global responsibility for company secretarial matters. The Company Secretariat team forms part of the wider Legal organisation ultimately reporting to the General Counsel & Company Secretary.

Principal Accountabilities
- To act as the point of contact for company secretarial matters in APAC and coordinate and manage all company secretarial matters for the region.
- Ensure that entities within the APAC region comply fully with relevant corporate legislation and make all appropriate filings with corporate regulators on a timely basis, with or without the support of third party advisors.
- Ensure that accurate corporate data and structure charts are maintained for entities within the APAC region.
- Manage the relationships with key external suppliers to the Company Secretariat function in the APAC region.
- To provide company secretarial support on large corporate transactions and projects.
- Assistance with other company secretarial tasks as required

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 6 years experience in a similar role at a similar level
- Proven track record in local corporate and company secretarial matters
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Flexible, adaptable and pragmatic
- Able to use initiative to resolve problems and identify improvements to processes
