**What the role is**
- As the sector champion of the attractions industry, you will be integral in developing and strengthening Singapore’s position as a leading tourism destination with a diverse mix of world-class attractions that drive visitor arrivals and tourism receipts. You will work closely with government agencies and industry stakeholders to drive the development of a competitive, innovative, vibrant and sustainable attractions industry.

**What you will be working on**
- Business Development:

- Be involved in investment promotion work, which includes engaging both local and international attraction owners and operators to explore new concepts and anchor new compelling attractions in Singapore.
- Drive initiatives to refresh and rejuvenate existing attraction offerings to ensure they stay relevant and attractive.

Stakeholder Management and Capability Development:

- Cultivate and ink partnerships across the attractions and related industries to facilitate business growth, improve productivity and innovation.
- Encourage and support key accounts to build capabilities and improve sustainability.
- Oversee the management of STB’s tourism asset Haw Par Villa (HPV); Work with operator and partners to upkeep and revitalise the park; Strategise on the longer term plan for HPV.

Others:

- Play a strategic role within a team to develop and refine our strategy, plans and budgets.
- Support other marketing, business and industry development work where relevant.

Key relationships:
1. Industry stakeholders (e.g. local and international attractions, IP owners, investors, developers)
2. Government agencies (e.g. MTI, URA, SLA, BCA)
3. STB line units and regional offices

**What we are looking for**
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in the areas of business development, marketing or facility/asset/property management
- Good communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
- Resourceful, self-driven individual and a good team player
- Knowledge in tourism, attractions and hospitality industry is an added advantage
- Familiarity with grant work and contract management is a plus
