Caterpillar currently has an opportunity for a **Senior Business Intelligence Analyst** based in Singapore. Reporting to the Data & Insights Manager, you will support the development and testing of new products or services, collects feedback from clients and recommends improvements.
**What You Will Do**:
Data is continuously generated by hundreds of thousands of Customers and Cat machines that are operated around the globe. This is creating a gold mine of information to support our customers growth and deliver insights to Caterpillar teams. The Business Intelligence analyst lead Strategic and Tactical analytic projects focus on resolving business problems to unlock service growth potentials and drive digital adoption. Turning data into insights, customer value and growth is essential to Caterpillar industries and the Cat Digital organization.
As Business Intelligence analyst, you will join a diverse team which focuses on discovering the future of aftermarket through the analytics of field data, thus ensuring that the best decisions are made by our internal partners to achieve digital adoption and customer success.
By joining the Data & Insights team, your contributions will support futures digital adoption in all industries served by Caterpillar. You will be an integral part of our team of talented Insight’s analysts and data engineers covering all Caterpillar industries working alongside of other data scientists and analysts in Cat Digital organization. You will gain experience in a vibrant and diverse multinational organization and develop your understanding of business practices and the data driven revolution.

- Knowledge of programming skills such as SQL, Python etc
- Applies tools and techniques for gathering business requirements.
- Defines the activities, deliverables, and tools of a business assessment process.
**Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.**
- Confirms deliverables associated with requirements analysis.
- Communicates with customers and users to elicit and gather client requirements.
- Implements technical documentation standards, guidelines and best practices.
- Coordinates and constantly updates system operations, installations, service manuals, and help documents.
**Product Design and Development: Knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production.**
- Uses automated tools to design or modify the design of a product.
- Assists in building a complex prototype of product.
**Research Analysis: Knowledge of the concepts, methodologies and methods of research analysis; ability to locate, interpret and evaluate research findings compiled and documented by others.**
- Interprets new findings and analyzes their validity.
- Advises on advanced research analysis methods.
- Evaluates research analysis best practices within the industry.

- This position requires working onsite five days a week.
