Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Art Student Intern to join our team. This position is ideal for an art student looking to gain hands-on experience in sculpting, casting, and painting, as well as to learn the intricacies of working with wax as a medium. The intern will play a key role in the production of our wax models and casts, from conceptualization to the final touches of paint. Additionally, the intern will have the opportunity to contribute to promotional activities, helping to showcase our unique art pieces to a wider audience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the creation of hand and feet casts, ensuring a high level of detail and quality.
- Paint and finish wax casts with precision, adhering to specific client requests and aesthetic standards.
- Participate in the setup and execution of promotional events or exhibitions, engaging with potential clients and explaining our process and services.
- Contribute creative ideas for new designs or products, in line with WaxHandArtzSG’s brand identity.
- Support the team in day-to-day operations, including preparation of materials and maintenance of the workspace.

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in an Art, Fine Arts, or related diploma program.
- Adobe skill and knowledge required.
- Strong artistic skills, particularly in sculpting and painting.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creative expression.
- Willingness to learn and master new techniques, specifically related to wax modeling.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently, adapt to a dynamic creative environment.
- Previous experience in casting or working with wax is a plus, but not required.

Work Time Required : Monday to Saturday 10am to 6pm (1hour break flexible)
