You will be designing features, building clean, highly scalable systems, managing complex integrations for checkout flow in our beauty advisor app. You make it possible for us to deliver key projects for increasing the revenue and providing useful features in the beauty advisor app. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will work on highly visible, well resourced projects and build products which directly impact our revenue and customer satisfaction - two of our key metrics for success. - Build tools/services for retail stores that utilize our online sources(ecomm/BQ/SAP) for increasing the share of revenue
- Marketplace integrations such Instacart and grab mart which provides fulfilment from store
- Building and maintaining a flexible payment backend service that supports a variety of global and localized payment methods in our many markets for Beauty Advisor APP including BNPL
- Work on key components like Customer profile, offers/personalized rewards, store promotions and store stock etc
- Optimizing performance of heavily utilized operations using metric driven improvements such as caching, query analysis and service topology etc
- Manage and mentor one or more Junior Software Engineers within the squad to help grow their capabilities.
**We would love to hear from you if**
You have demonstrated experience in designing, building and maintaining scalable, adaptable APIs
- You value core software engineering practices (i.e. Data Structures, Algorithms, Scalability Security, Testing)
- You have experience integrating CRM tools and payment gateways
- You are very proficient in at least one modern high level programming languages like JAVA / Ruby etc.
- You have built engaging UIs with one or more modern Javascript frameworks Angular / Vue / React / Ember etc.
- You are a team player and happy to communicate with the other teams in the company (Product Managers, UI / UX Designers, and more importantly fellow engineers locally and abroad

We work with JAVA / Ruby on Rails / Angular / Vue JS / Node and write tests on a daily basis. Experience with these technologies and tools are desired but not an absolute requirement.
You probably have a computer science degree or relevant work-experience as a software engineer, but passion and demonstrated expertise are what we care about.
