Mid-senior Digital Designer

**Overview of the role**
We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic Digital Designer to join us If you are a talented Senior Digital Designer or a Mid-weight Digital Designer with growth potential, we would love to talk to you.
We are looking for someone who is a creative thinker and passionate about creating inspiring work and who has a genuine interest in telling our clients’ stories in a compelling way. You’ll need the ability to mix creative flair with commercial awareness, to effectively present and sell-in your work, the ability to maintain your head when things get busy, and great personality to boot
You will have a great design eye and combine creative skills with technical know-how to develop high quality ‘experience designs’ for our digital solutions. You will have a deep understanding of the digital creative process, and how to create best practice user experiences that will drive your creative thinking. Your attention to detail and quality standards will ensure that you are able to direct the development team in the successful realization of your designs.

**Your Key Responsibilities**
**Provide creative leadership**
- To provide overall design direction and leadership across assigned client work and new business pitches.
- Combining highly creative and strategic thinking, to proactively push and challenge a brief, and to interpret business and communications objectives into original and relevant propositions and creative solutions
- Being the ultimate custodian of all digital output, ensuring that the integrity, accuracy and quality of work is maintained.
- To produce high quality experience designs that adhere to digital design and user experience best practice, that communicate the messages and content in a compelling way, and that are informed by knowledge of our technology.

**Strengthen client relationships**
- To build strong client relationships, instilling their trust and confidence in your abilities to meet their needs.
- To successfully sell in creative digital solutions to clients.
- To be proactive in all client dealings, managing account problems efficiently and providing exemplary client services at all times.

**Take commercial responsibility**
- Manage project resources (time and budgets) to deliver jobs profitably, on time and to the desired quality.
- Oversee any external resources required to deliver a creative solution such as photography and film
- Where required, make an active contribution to new business.

**Support your team**
- Work closely with the Creative and Digital teams as well as the Account Management to understand the creative strategy, delivery framework, commercial imperatives and context for your work;
- Act as a mentor for junior designers within the team and be the champion of our internal work processes.
