Due to continuous growth, Mott MacDonald's leading Advisory team has an opportunity for a Project Controller to be based in our Singapore office. You will be joining a diverse team of consultants who are passionate about what they do, with a proven track record guiding our clients, and leading delivery of our world-class infrastructure projects.
As the newest member of our team, you will need an eye for detail and be able to follow procedures, requirements and rules while maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information. Operating as part of the wider project team you will use a high level of initiative and ability to organise and prioritise tasks with mínimal supervision while maintaining a high level of internal customer service. The role would suit an early career professional with the enthusiasm and the aptitude to be willing to learn.
Your role will include:

- Supporting across a full range of project control activities including scope, cost, schedule, resource, change and risk.
- Capturing and organizing data for analysis and providing updates to project function leads to facilitate decision making
- Interpreting data from various data sources, summarizing and producing succinct reports
- Providing coordinated and accurate cost, schedule, and risk reporting to support the robust commercial operation of the projects or commissions
- In conjunction with other team members produce commentary with respect to variances to baseline including recovery proposals
- Perform a supporting role during commercial and contractual negotiations
- Undertake targeted support / interventions where project teams are struggling, with Senior Controllers.
- Assist to develop digital solutions and automation for Project Control functions.
- Ad hoc tasks assigned by the Project Control Manager.
- About You
- Bachelor’s degree holder with minimum 1-2 years working experience.
- Willing to and enjoy learning new concepts and ideas.
- Enthusiastic and someone who enjoys working and collaborating in a team.
- Good IT skills - ability to adapt existing systems leading to improved efficiency
- A methodical, positive, and clear communicator
- Someone who enjoys getting tasks completed
- Organized and accurate
- Familiar with MS Excel.
- Knowledge in coding with Python and/or Microsoft Excel VBA will be advantageous but not mandatory.
- CAPM Certification (Advantageous not mandatory)
