Spare Part Planner
- Spares Part Planning Team is responsible for a global network of Regional Distribution Centers, Hubs and Depots supplying Infinera equipment for assuring the availability of spare parts to maintain customer networks. Spares Part Planning is looking for an organized professional to own the spare parts planning for the complete product life cycle for his/her regions while identifying and driving process improvement. As a critical member of the Global Services organization, you will have the opportunity to oversee, develop and improve the current process and procedures while serving our global customers. The role will be resolving complex issues relying on experience reviewing, analyzing and arranging large data sets in a way that is understandable and clearly identifies central themes and messages. Must have excellent written and oral communications skills.- Responsible for setting up and improving stocking plan for Spare parts to support customers in Asia, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Analyze current and future Installed Base and consumption to forecast the demand for service parts. Identifying requirements for new or refurbished spares for service operations and set optimal stocking plan for spare parts. Collaborate with Repair and Manufacturing to identify opportunities for inventory reduction while maintaining service level. Drive process improvement and documentation initiatives. Suggest innovative ideas to improve current process. Analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated system solutions/process re-engineering- Qualifications- Aftermarket knowledge and relevant experience in Service Part Planning
- Strong teamwork required. Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
- Strong propensity for spreadsheets, databases, systems, and processes and analytical mindset and is an expert user of Excel
- Curious personality with a desire to understand “how things work” and “how things are related” with the goal of improving and streamlining current methods and processes
- Prior Supply Chain knowledge preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications primarily MS Excel, Access, SQL, Power BI, Experience with VBA a plus. Knowledge of SAP for Enterprise Resource Planning is preferred
- Minimum 4 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Operation is a plus
