As the VP of Sales, you will be leading a high-performing team to create and implement strategic initiatives across sales functions including our global K-12 and University partnerships teams to generate revenue and support the company’s growth. Define and execute appropriate sales strategies; business development, marketing, technical, operations, and sales support programs to maximize sales and profitability. You’ll be solving business problems, collaborating across teams such as product, client experience, marketing. Passionate about having a huge impact on growing teams. You will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee management and growth across both the K-12 and university partnerships teams.
- Provides leadership and mentorship to the regional sales leaders, while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, and high-performance behavior.
- Work closely with the leadership team to align the sales targets / OKRs with Cialfo’s business strategy through active participation in strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting.
- Accountable for effective sales organization design, including sales job roles, sales channel design, and sales resource deployment.
- Manage the sales operation team to establish infrastructure and systems to support the success of the growth team.
- Create a strong collaborative culture amongst regional cross-functional teams. (Product, Marketing, Client Experience, Finance, HR)
- Present strategic opportunities while identifying emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Forge strong new and existing relationships with major international group accounts and develop strategic alignments through the channel and strategic partnerships discussions.
- Reviewing Cialfo’s client activity, anticipating their needs, and improving client satisfaction.
- Recruiting and hiring sales staff and developing training programs.
- Coaching of young managers and leaders, cultivating a growth mindset and culture in sales teams.

**Requirements**:

- Proven leadership experience as a Director of Sales, VP of Sales, or other senior roles.
- Have 15+ years of experience in a sales position within a fast-paced environment with proven and successful ability to lead a group of sales personnel towards growth.
- Industry experience working with K-12 High Schools and Universities is preferred.
- Experience working with remote and multi-cultural teams. We live, breathe, and type from all around the world.
- Experience creating and improving on sales processes and running pipeline management and accountability meetings.
- Experience managing Salesforce administration team.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and are comfortable managing expectations and keeping teams on track.
- Strategic mindset, with the ability to make difficult decisions.
- Creative, methodical problem-solving skills with a focus on efficient execution while balancing big-picture thinking.
- Experience leading cross-functional, global teams with a history of proven business exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience building and coaching high-performance sales teams.
- Prior experience in driving the expansion of a software product across technology partner ecosystems and channels. Ability to contribute to defining a strategic vision and to articulate it in front of a variety of audiences.
