Job Purpose:
As a resident caregiver, to ensure the physical, psychological, emotional, social and spiritual well-being of the elderly ladies, who have been orphaned or abandoned to the Home in IJHCC, since they were babies.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Assist in the elderly's toiletry needs throughout the day and in the night.
2. Cook and serve meals to the elderly.
3. Administer medication.
4. Engage the elderly in positive communication and activities.
5. Accompany the elderly for their regular medical consultations at the hospitals or polyclinics.
6. Accompany the elderly for regular church services or events organised by volunteers, schools or corporations.
7. General house cleaning.
8. Manage budget for household expenses, including marketing and transport.
Report Structure:
The role reports to the Programmes and Services Manager.
