DESIGNATION : WSH Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES
- To conduct routine checks on general safety practices in each subsidiary and propose section heads for corrective measures to be taken if required.
- To alert relevant Manger of any machinery, plant equipment, appliance or process used in each subsidiary that exposes any person to the risk of bodily injury, and to recommend appropriate corrective measures.
- Approving permits and act as confined space assessor and WAH assessor.
- To act as fire and hazmat leader for the plant.
- To ensure all the fire fighting equipment are in good condition and inspections are done as required.
- To assist in document management and control works.
- To execute and follow up safety promotions/ programs in plant.
- To undertake any other assignment given by the section head from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum WSH Level C, Registered WSHO preferred but not mandatory.
- Certified Confined space assessor and Work at Height assessor.
- Minimum 1 year Safety experience in **utility/ manufacturing/ logistic industry/ marine industries only**.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
