**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Architectural Strategy: Drive architectural thinking and engagement with agile squads, ensuring architecture plans and solution designs are aligned with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
- Solution Development: Work closely with agile pods to drive containerization, cloud adoption, and digital transformation strategies within the credit origination domain.
- Roadmap Management: Develop and maintain solution architecture roadmaps for the credit origination platform, ensuring alignment with business and technology goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Present solution architecture designs to senior stakeholders, explaining key elements, benefits, and potential drawbacks.
- Solution Assessment: Evaluate proposed solutions for adherence to architecture principles, feasibility, and alignment with long-term business and technical objectives.
- Technology Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external technology partners to assess the scope of technology changes and devise solution architecture options for new projects.
- Cost-effective Solutions: Provide cost-effective, scalable, and efficient solution options in line with established architecture principles.
- Governance & Compliance: Present solution designs to technology governance committees as part of the project approval process, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and compliance.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, including best practices for systems, interfaces, and integration points.

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Architecture Expertise: 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, with a focus on driving architectural strategies and designing scalable solutions.
- Cloud & Containerization: Strong experience in cloud solutions (OpenShift, Azure) and container management tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Rocket, Drawbridge).
- Java/J2EE & Frameworks: Proficiency in Java/J2EE, with hands-on experience in Spring, Struts, Hibernate, and J2EE specifications like JAXRS and JAXWS.
- Elastic Scaling & Dynamic Discovery: Experience with elastic scaling tools (Nginx, HAProxy) and dynamic discovery tools (Zookeeper, Etcd).
- Configuration Management: Familiarity with configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Zookeeper, Etcd) for managing infrastructure.
- CI/CD Practices: Strong knowledge of continuous integration (Maven, Jenkins) and continuous deployment tools (Jenkins, Nolio, Go).
- Microservices Architecture: Hands-on experience and knowledge of microservices architecture and related technologies.
- UI Development & Web APIs: Proficiency in UI development frameworks (Node.js, REACT, AngularJS) and designing web APIs for information exchange using tools like Swagger or RAML.
- Database Management: Expertise in Oracle or SQL Server PL/SQL development and designing complex data models.
- Test Automation & Build Tools: Understanding of automated test configuration, continuous build concepts, and tools like SonarQube.
- Collaboration & Version Control: Experience with collaboration tools (GitHub, JIRA) and version control best practices.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of automated testing practices and test configuration tools.
- Experience with PAAS platforms like OpenShift for elastic scaling.

**Education**:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $16,000.00 - $22,000.00 per month
