Warehouse Picker and Packer

**Job Summary**:
This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Order Packing**:

- Accurately pick and pack items for shipment according to order specifications.
- Ensure items are packed securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Label and seal packages appropriately.
- Verify the accuracy of packed orders against packing slips.
- **Warehouse Assistance**:

- Assist with receiving and unloading incoming shipments.
- Organise and maintain warehouse inventory.
- Assist with stock-taking and inventory counts.
- Move and arrange pallets and boxes using pallet jacks or other equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Assist with general warehouse maintenance tasks.
- **Shipping and Receiving**:

- Assist with loading outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damages and discrepancies.
- Assist in the processing of returns.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Report any safety hazards or concerns to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Ability to work in various warehouse conditions.
- Previous warehouse or packing experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience with shipping and receiving is a plus.
- **Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move heavy cartons (up to 8kg per carton)
- Basic math skills.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
- Basic computer skills are a plus.
- **Personal Attributes**:

- Reliable and punctual.
- Hardworking and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently.

Compulsory working hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

- Early shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
