**JOB SUMMARY**

Reporting to the Senior Manager Supply Chain APAC, this role is responsible for the end-to-end supply chain function from planning and replenishment of inventory of all trade inventory (spares, equipment, disposables) into the assigned APAC warehouses, inventory management in terms of slow-moving stocks and aging review, phase in/phase out of products, master data updates and allocation review, participates in monthly SIOP meetings and review major demand changes in APAC and work with supply plants to mitigate supply risk and responsible for development and execution of key logistics projects and initiatives that will drive improvements, savings and value creation for the overall supply chain and APAC logistics. This position will lead logistics projects, harmonize processes, and implement key initiatives across the business.

This position is also responsible for 3PL performance management, contract negotiation and lead freight/warehouse RFQ process for APAC. The position is also responsible to drive root cause investigation and implement effective CAPA to improve APAC logistics performance.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- **Inventory Planning**:

- Management of stock levels in all trade stock locations (using MRP, inventory report, inventory repositioning, working with Sales, Demand Planner, Commercial, Marketing etc. to avoid obsolescence and to manage spikes in demand etc.)
- Manage and own the parameters in SAP that impact the MRP process
- Handling & follow up of purchase orders
- Execute and monitor processing of inbound flows: shipment notifications, inbound transactions, management of inbound discrepancies, link with accounting
- Maximize product availability by consistent and predictable product flows
- Monitor and make (documented and approved) stock transactions to ensure recording of stock matches with physical reality
- Understand the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning process of the company, and work with it to plan product range changes (new products, phase out of products) and supply/inventory of product
- Participate in monthly SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) meetings and work with supply plant on the major changes and allocation process
- Provide information and support required by internal customers (open order information, product availability info, info required by accounting...)
- Administer planning systems and databases in order to assure accurate data (e.g. IDOC follow up)
- KPI reporting where required
- Co-ordinate rework of stock (labelling, repack etc.) when needed with Warehouse.
- Monitor inventory counting process in various locations and perform inventory control and reconciliation tasks
- Manage the phase in/phase out of products with Marketing & Commercial
- Be the back-up for Inventory Planners and other team members where required
- Maintenance and execution of SOP’s related to inventory planning, receipt, distribution and warehouse management
- Analyze customer order data and work with customer service and commercial teams to improve performance and processes.
- Logistics & Warehousing
- Coordinate special shipments as needed: freight quotes, insurance, equipment, timing, for non-SAP shipments.
- Provide support on tariff classification, customs procedures, trade compliance and free trade agreements.
- Provide operational oversight and monitoring of logistics service providers (warehouses and carriers) for APAC logistics.
- Co-ordinate rework of stock (labelling, repack etc.) or write-offs/physical disposal when needed with Warehouse.
- Monitor inventory counting process in various locations and perform inventory control and reconciliation tasks
- Support the Logistics strategy with the overall business goals and objectives, keeping balance balance between costs and service level.
- Responsible for leveraging best practices in logistics.
- Provide support for Logistics transportation and warehouse supplier RFQs (Request for Quotations) and contract negotiation.
- Analyze carrier data and look for areas of efficiency gains utilizing the right carrier for regional and national shipments.
- Work with QA to conduct warehouse audit according to local QMS & regulatory guidelines.
- Validate freight invoices and monitor logistics spend against budget.
- Manages customer complaints related to deliveries and logistics, ensuring response and resolution within customer time frame expected.

**General**
- Maintain and enhance Logistics KPIs and trend analysis to support the organization to drive improvements in cost and performance.
- Work closely with the Global Logistics Analyst on KPIs, reporting and projects as needed.
- Responsible for continuous improvements and lead initiatives relating to logistics, as directed by Supply Chain APAC Lead.
