Reporting to Assistant Manager, Production, this position is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe operations of manufacturing process and equipment and achievement of product quality in accordance to company safety standards and environmental regulations for the production plant. The incumbent will also be involved in coaching and guiding a team of Process Technicians.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support in handling plant start-up, shutdown manufacturing process according to established procedures
- Ensure safe and optimal operation of manufacturing process and equipment
- Establish and control manufacturing process operations to meet production quantity and quality targets inclusive of reviewing and developing SOPs
- Conduct investigation for production troubles
- Coach and guide a team of Process Technicians inclusive of conducting knowledge transfer, evaluating employees’ performance, handling leave, attendance and disciplinary matters
- Conduct daily shift meeting and assign jobs to shift team
- Ensure good housekeeping in the plant areas
- Support the Production Superintendent in daily activities

**Requirements**:

- NITEC in Chemical Process Technology or Higher NITEC in Chemical Technology or a related discipline with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a supervisory capacity
- Knowledge in Distributed Control System is advantageous
- Effective team player with good communication skills and high self-motivation
- Able to perform rotating shift work
- Able to perform overtime work when required
- Willing to work in Jurong Island
