Summary

We are searching for a highly motivated Assistant Manager, Corporate Finance & Reporting You will be part of the finance team and will be involved in the various areas of the airline passenger revenue accounting. You will also actively participate in implementing the new revenue accounting and suggesting any improvement plans along the journey.

**Job Description**:
Revenue accounting
- Responsible for timely monthly closing activities for revenue accounting team;
- Maintain chart of accounts and related master tables in revenue accounting system;
- Ensure accuracy of sales and revenue accounting entries generated by revenue accounting system;
- Prepare revenue accounting closing journals;
- Review and resolve long outstanding items in clearing accounts;
- Prepare monthly balance sheet and profit and loss audit schedules;
- Liaise and support of external and internal audit requirements;
- Work with external system providers to resolve any system issues relating to revenue accounting processes, and manage system change request where necessary;
- Address queries, resolve issues and support new initiatives relating to revenue accounting matters.

Collection reconciliation
- Monitor and manage the collection related work done by the team and outsourced vendor to ensure that the KPI targets are met;
- Conduct quality control check on the collection related work done by outsourced vendor to ensure that it has been processed accurately and promptly;
- Timely end-to-end reconciliation between sales (from reservation system), collection (from various acquirers) and settlement (from bank statements);
- Monitor and ensure prompt settlements from various acquirers;
- Investigate and liaise with various internal departments / acquirers / banks in event of discrepancies;
- Review necessary accounting entries to record the sales and collection;
- Verify vendor invoices and perform monthly analysis relating to acquiring costs;
Passenger interline and ticketed sales
- Timely and accurate processing of interlines billings and various types of rejection billings to/from other airlines according to IATA RAM rules and interline agreements;
- Review interline agreements, configure new interline agreements in revenue accounting system, perform testing on the new configuration and deploy it in production environment;
- Perform of month-end closing activities for interline matters;
- Work with interline partners and external system providers to improve the efficiency and accuracy of interline reconciliation;
- Carry out investigation on passenger booking, and identified by the revenue accounting system as exceptions, with a view to detect and recover revenue leakages and/or identify lapses in processes for follow-up actions.

Ad-hoc
- Constantly identifying key processes to improve efficiency.
- Involved in implementation of new revenue accounting system.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Degree or equivalent.
- Possess 5-8 years of experience in accounting function, preferably in aviation, hospitality or retail industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Good inter-personal and communication skills.
- Self-driven, able to work independently and in a team, and perform well under pressure.
- Well organized and meticulous.
- Proactive and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
