Drafter - Bilingual

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepares presentation draft of project proposals, objectives, requirements and specifications to start the project as assigned
- Prepares technical deliverables for the submission of the proposal
- Highlights areas for clarifications with Client to obtain approval on proposed drawings
- Factors in Client preferences in view of Client satisfaction based on given project design parameter
- Coordinates control of native files among other designer / drafters involved in the same design / project
- Generates deliverables to the research and development of new products and procedures
- Resolves internal issue
- Generates deliverables as per project specifications
- Reviews and modifies product designs
- Generates deliverables for input to proposals and reports for Clients
- Contributes to the input of overall concepts for a new product
- Ensures technical accuracy of work
- Executes administrative policies, procedures and standards
- Coordinates activities of unit with other units or organizations
- Confers with D&E Manager and designer

**Key Requirements**:

- Bilingual English and Chinese
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- 2-3 years of Autocad drafting experience (electrical, piping and mechanical) in the shipping industry is a plus
- Can compute electrical loading, design electrical wiring and piping sizes
- Familiar with AutoCAD, Photoshop or Illustrator, M. Suite (Words, Excel,
- PowerPoint, Outlook, Project) SketchUp
- Able to produce designs based on concept given by the Project Architect
- Able to interpret conceptual drawings into detail drawings
- Able to do construction drawings as per design directives
- Tender and construction documentation skills are essential

**Salary**: $4,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month

- Postgraduate Diploma/Certificate (required)

**Experience**:

- AutoCAD drafting: 5 years (required)
