The Senior Material Planner is responsible for identifying and maintaining the appropriate planning parameters in ERP systems to optimize inventory and to ensure continuous supply of material to the production.

This position is part of the Materials Management team and will be located in Benoi, Singapore

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Manage the key master data and supply chain parameters to optimize the material planning. Introduce Kanban and work closely with Warehouse team to maintain inventory with high accuracy.- Review long term material requirements and work with Procurement to provide forecast to both internal/external suppliers to mitigate any material shortages.- Involve in weekly fulfilment meetings to review OTD, Past Due and Recovery Plans. Identify potential and actual material shortages, review order progress, material rejection, scrap, and rework.- Monitor and prioritise the demands and generate purchase requisitions for Procurement and process production work orders using SAP MRP planned order requirements.The essential requirements of the job include:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or Science- 10-12 years of experience in manufacturing environment.- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 with advanced Excel skills.- Competency in SAP or similar ERP programs.- Process effective communication, analytical and strong problem-solving skills.- Good understanding of inbound supply chain, procurement, and warehouse activities- Working with BOM, routing and big datasets.
