Singapore SBS TRANSIT RAIL PTE. LTD. Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage, lead and motivate a group of Technicians in maintaining Rail Guided Vehicles (RGVs) and wagons in accordance to specified standards and established NEL system procedures
- Responsible for requisition of materials and supplies such as replacement parts, or engineering services related to Engineering Train Vehicles and its facility
- Plan and coordinate maintenance schedule of RGVs & all wagons with internal stakeholders to meet service availability standards
- Conducts fault analysis study and recommends appropriate preventive and corrective actions on RGVs & wagons to improve its reliability
- Provides specialist inputs and explore upgrades for RGVs and wagons where applicable to maximise efficiency within approved budget
- Manage and maintain list of purchasing records including estimated amounts generated by his unit in a collective and accessible database for authorized users
- Provide inputs on maintainability and safety features / design, installation, testing and commissioning of the Engineering Vehicles and subsystems to Senior / Engineer, Projects & Support
- Upkeep team competency especially in areas which requires mandatory certifications
- Develop training materials and support training of staff for the maintenance of Engineering Train Vehicles and equipment
- Account for Senior / Technicians / Technical Officers' overtime needed whilst ensuring that assigned overtime is in compliance to MOM regulations
- Work with colleagues within engineering division to resolve Engineering trains operation problems/issues
- Certify all inspections performed by the team are duly inspected and Vehicles are safe for mainline use
- Undertake any other tasks as assigned by superior(s)

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering with at least 2 years' relevant work experience in similar maintenance environment, or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering with at least 7 years' relevant work experience in similar maintenance environment
- Good knowledge of any electrical, electronic, air-conditioning, mechanical and pneumatic systems pertaining to railway vehicles
- Basic understanding of PLC and engineering automation concepts / principles coupled with diagnostic know-how
- Strong leadership / mentorship qualities preferred
- Good in planning, organising and communication skills
- Resourceful, self-motivated and result-oriented team player with good interpersonal skills
- Logical, analytical with good initiative and able to work well independently in demanding conditions
