The Academy for Healthy Longevity at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS, seeks a Research Assistant/Associate to support an innovative project developing prognostic digital biomarkers of aging using physical activity data from wearable devices. This position will contribute to advancing personalized healthcare through data-driven approaches to risk segment populations to enable health promotion and longevity.

**Responsibilities**:
- Data Analytics & Processing
Develop a plan to process and analyze physical activity data from wearable devices
- Support the development of risk stratification models
- Assist in integrating health outcome records with physical activity data
- Identify a pathway to implement statistical and machine learning techniques for biomarker identification
- Develop plans for validating risk stratification models
- Planning Technical Development
Support development plans for the creation of interactive dashboards for data visualization
- Identify data quality control and security protocols
- Research Support
Assist in preparing research documentation and reports
- Support stakeholder coordination and technical strategy development
- Contribute to research team meetings and discussions
- Any other tasks deemed necessary by the research team

**Qualifications**
- Education & Experience
Research Assistant: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or related field and 1-2 years experience in health data analysis or related field
- Research Associate: Master's degree in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or related field and 1-2 years experience in health data analysis or related field
- Technical Skills
Programming proficiency in relevant software systems such as Python or R
- Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning
- Experience in data preprocessing and data harmonization
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards
- Professional Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good project management skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative research environment
