The position of Accounting Analyst is part of the Accounting Team based in Singapore. This position will report directly to the Accounting Manager.

The principal responsibility of this role is managing the accounting and monthly reconciliation of financial ledgers relating to Local Health Business.

Duties & Responsibilities
Preparing monthly closing journals in accordance with US/local GAAP and IFRS within tight deadline.
Preparing monthly management accounts in accordance with US GAAP within stipulated reporting deadlines.
Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with GAAP, STAT and SEC requirements.
Preparing quarterly and year end reporting exhibits to US Head Office within the stipulated timeline.
Assisting in the annual external audit.
Assisting in regular review of the manual processes in accounting and reporting to initiate changes for improvement to increase efficiency and productivity as well as to minimize risks of errors.
Providing support to Finance Team in various ad-hoc projects, including IFRS17.

**Experience / Skills Required**:
Qualification in Finance and/or Accounting
Experience in monthly accounting close process in a fast paced environment
Experience in insurance and within an international environment is preferable
Focus on strong control environment and experience in balance sheet reconciliations
Able to work under pressure and meet key deadlines
Experience in Oracle or similar General Ledger packages
Strong excel and general PC skills are essential
