**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**

We are looking for a seasoned Backend Engineer with strong problem solving skills and algorithm understanding to build and manage scalable and reliable systems.

You will partner closely with international engineering and product teams in a high-impact and fast-paced environment.

As a Backend Engineer you must welcome the challenges of scalability and care about giving our users the best platform for them to create video & audio content.

**THE POSITION**

This is an exciting opportunity not only to tackle the challenges of large scale distributed system across multiple countries which generates huge amount of data from millions of users.

But also the unique challenges from short form video creation and live streaming to provide low latency and high quality content for different types of network connectivity, when the live event can go viral anytime to generate huge amount of traffic.

**YOUR TASKS**
- Design and develop high available, scalable and reliable systems to support users globally
- Collaborate with product managers and various engineers to define and develop critical features
- Drive cross-team communication to align design and implementation
- Contribute to the success of a rapidly growing and evolving product with agility and quality.
- Participate in design reviews and code reviews for the infrastructure team.
**YOU MUST HAVE**
- 3+ years of software engineering experience in high traffic and scalable service
- Excellent programming, debugging, and optimization skills in one or more general-purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Golang, Java, Python
- Proven system design ability
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to think critically and to formulate solutions to problems in a clear and concise way
- Experience in AWS or Azure
