**Visual Designer (UX)**

Maker Lab is looking for a dynamic individual to join an exciting project we’ve embarked on with our technology client. Our client's brand is complex, innovative and paving the way for creative avenues to revolutionalise the payment industry in unconventional ways.

As a Visual Designer (UX), you will be partnering across a wide range of departments alongside your team of creatives to elevate the visuals and concepts of UX designs with a deep understanding of what the user wants. You work well with people and are a problem solver, you are open to multiple perspectives and thrive in revolutionising the UX world.

This is not your traditional agency Visual Designer role. Alongside crafting your design, your job is to come up with fresh, innovative and visually-striking ideas based on the latest trends.

Role:

- Partner with the rest of the team on technical implementation - UX Designers & product managers, including Motion Graphics Designers, UX Researchers, Project Managers, Content Strategists, etc.
- Collaborate and integrate with clients’ marketing, branding, creative and other teams, including Engineering, Marketing, Business Development, etc.
- Drive and inspire dynamic ideas that connect with all types of users through quality-driven interactive design
- Lead & execute UX projects for mobile apps with deep material design knowledge, providing insights and feedback to the team.
- Ideate and execute ideas from beginning to end in a fast-paced working environment.
- Create original interactive visuals that are exciting and innovative, and respond to the client’s business, brand and strategic objectives across the region.

You:

- At least 6+ years of experience in an agency, financial services firm, and hyper-growth technology companies
- A multidisciplinary designer with skills such as Visual Design, UX Design, Concept Development, Rapid Prototyping, System Design, Brand Identity, Product Design, Typography, etc.
- A multi-faceted designer who knows your Figma well, including component, style, layer management & creating scalable design systems.
- You don’t just consider yourself a great designer but also an amazing creative. You love coming up with ideas as much as you love spending time crafting them
- Your commitment will be to delivering work of the highest quality while working with team members to constantly develop new ideas, staying abreast of new media formats and learning to incorporate them into designs.
- A sharp-eyed, detailed oriented and good design ambassador. You have a strong sense of layout, colour, composition and type.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communications and presentation skills and, ideally, fluent in another Asian language to support the projects spanning JAPAC.
