**Location: Singapore, Hong Kong or any other major cities in ASEAN and Taiwan**

**OVERVIEW**:
Juniper Networks is seeking to appoint an exceptional technical consultant focusing on major opportunities in both the Service provider and Enterprise market verticals within APAC. This role will need to provide expertise and leadership in Security whilst also having the capability to deliver switching and routing solutions in the DC and Campus area.

The overall objective of this role is to build a close engagement with account teams and technical leaders to understand their customer priorities and help develop and implement Juniper’s solutions and related architectures that differentiate Juniper and enable the execution specific account strategy.

**JOB TITLE**: Consultant Sales Specialist Engineer

**LOCATION**:The job location will be in the ASEAN region. However, the role’s responsibility encompasses APAC and customers throughout the theatre can be expected to be engaged.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Closely liaise with the account teams in both Enterprise and Service Provider verticals to develop and define a set of security solutions applicable to the APAC market.
- Develop close peer relationships with the Product team and be able to articulate key requirements for APAC to both PLM and engineering on a regular or as needed basis.
- Regularly review accounts across the APAC and identify potential solution opportunities and No Bid situations.
- Drive customer executive engagement and customer relationship building via leveraging an architecture approach and positioning solutions that offer significant business value
- Ability to think ‘outside the box’ and adapt technology to solve customer’s problems.
- Develop technical architectures for the Customer and the incubation and development of new opportunities based on these architectures.
- Frequent engagement with the Customer technical leaders to understand their business priorities and influence their architecture decisions to align both with their business goals and with Juniper’s account strategy.
- Collaborate extensively with Theatre SE team to encourage a sharing of insights, experiences and documentation on customer success and failures
- Undertake demonstrations and Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) of new technologies and solutions to strategic customers with support from other teams within APAC theatre and/or WW Specialist Systems Engineering teams
- Assist account teams in responding to RFP’s and RFI’s, especially those related to new technologies and complex solutions.
- Interface constructively within the account teams and other teams such as professional services, marketing, partner organizations to deliver relevant solutions to the customer and Juniper partners.

**SUPERVISION**

Exercises wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments. Reports to the APAC TSC Director.

**Qualification**
- 12+ years of proven experience in a customer-facing pre-sale’s role for network equipment, or equal experience as a Network Engineer/Architect designing, deploying, and operating full stack enterprise networks.
- Wi-Fi - experienced and knowledgeable about radio wave and RF fundamentals. Experience with Wi-Fi design tools.
- Routing - experienced and knowledgeable with routing protocols BGP and OSPF. Knowledge of DC architecture, EVPN and EXLAN is a plus.
- Switching - experienced and knowledgeable with Layer2/3 wired LANs.
- Security - experienced and knowledgeable with NGFWs, to include policy rules, and segmentation. Integration with AAA/Radius and various EAP methods and PKI Management.
- Security - experienced with cloud architecture, cloud security, SASE solution, and SIEM solutions.
- Programing - exposure and familiarity with API’s, Postman, JSON, Python, etc., would be a bonus. DevOps experience would be a plus.
- Exceptional verbal, written, presentation and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, set priorities and manage simultaneous projects in a high-pace environment.
- Ability to work independently and with a team, with a passion to drive continuous success.
- Engineering Degree or equivalent desirable
- Fluent in English
- CISSP, CISA, CompTIA Security+, JNCIP-SEC, or other networking certification is preferred.
- This position is at the “Advanced” career stage within the Juniper career framework.
- Some international travel is required.
