The CAD Drafter is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, schematics, and plans for use in construction, manufacturing, and engineering projects. The role involves working closely with project teams, engineers, and architects to ensure the accuracy and precision of all design documents.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Drafting and Design**:Develop and prepare detailed drawings in 2D and 3D using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit).
Interpret engineering sketches, design specifications, and technical guidelines.
Create layouts, diagrams, and detailed drawings based on project requirements.
- **Collaboration**:Work closely with engineers, architects, and other team members to gather design input and understand project scope.
Modify and revise designs based on feedback and technical specifications.
- **Documentation**:Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and final drawings.
Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements in all technical documents.
- **Quality Assurance**:Review and cross-check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to specifications.
Ensure alignment with project timelines and deliverables.
- **Technical Support**:Provide support during project execution by clarifying technical drawings and addressing design-related inquiries.
Assist in preparing technical presentations and reports.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**:
Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- **Technical Skills**:Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, etc.).
Knowledge of design standards, engineering principles, and construction practices.
Ability to interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
- **Soft Skills**:Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CAD drafting or a related field (entry-level positions may require less experience).

**Working Conditions**:

- Office environment with occasional site visits (if required).
- Regular working hours with flexibility to meet project deadlines.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in the industry relevant to the company (e.g., Marine, Construction, Oil & Gas).
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools and processes.
- Certification in CAD software is an advantage.
