- Hagen Lee- Co-Founder, Director StriveX is partnering with a regional Bank who is looking for an AVP to join their Financial & Regulatory Reporting team. This role will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving excellence in financial reporting processes. You will be responsible for various aspects including MAS regulatory reporting, annual audit and tax-related matters, management reporting, financial controls, and other ad-hoc assignments.

Role and Responsibilities
- Review and prepare daily MAS reports to ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and deliver regulatory returns prescribed by MAS Notices to Banks.
- Prepare MAS/Department of Statistics surveys with variance analysis.
- Lead/participate in projects to improve regulatory reporting processes and systems.
- Coordinate and prepare annual statutory reporting and disclosures items.
- Manage tax computation, FATCA/CRS annual submissions, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Review and prepare Head Office reporting, monthly expenses forecast, and full-year budget.
- Respond to ad hoc queries and requests for management information.
- Ensure compliance with Head Office operational guides and local regulations.
- Undertake automation projects and process enhancements to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Participate in month-end closing activities and handle ad-hoc assignments.

Key Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Bank's Finance & Accounting
- Detailed, meticulous, and possess good problem-solving skills.
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Fast learner, self-motivated, and an excellent team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong PC and IT skills, especially in Excel, with an analytical mindset in system development and automation processes.
- Ability to understand and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
