Our client is currently seeking a talented and ambitious Junior Fund Accountant to join their team.

This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in fund accounting. The Junior Fund Accountant will work closely with senior team members to support the accounting and financial reporting functions for a portfolio of investment funds.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the daily accounting and financial reporting activities for assigned investment funds, including NAV calculations, cash and position reconciliations, and expense processing.
- Support the preparation of financial statements, investor capital statements, and other client reporting deliverables in accordance with accounting standards.
- Participate in the review and analysis of fund performance metrics, investment transactions, and portfolio valuations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including fund administrators, auditors, and investment managers, to ensure timely and accurate completion of reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of accounting records, investment transactions, and other supporting documentation.
- Assist with the onboarding of new funds and clients, including setup of accounting systems, data migration, and investor record maintenance.
- Respond to inquiries from clients, investors, and internal team members regarding fund accounting processes, procedures, and reporting requirements.
- Contribute to process improvements and initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of fund accounting operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in fund accounting or financial services industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and take initiative to learn and develop new skills.
- Integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional client service.
