**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Perform and certify aircraft maintenance tasks including inspection, repair, modification, and functional tests.- Attend to routine transit/daily/weekly/monthly checks and other line maintenance duties.- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft and engines and all associated aircraft systems.- Inspect finished work, carry out operation/functional tests, and rectify aircraft defects.- Sign-off all tasks performed and comply with Airworthy Release.- Manage and maintain tool & equipment store and provide recommendations, if applicable.- Base Maintenance: 90%, Line Maintenance: 10%, depending on workload.- Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities performed.- Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering personnel to troubleshoot and resolve complex aircraft issues.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Ideally holds a **CASA (Australia)**or **EASA Aircraft Maintenance License**, or alternatively a license that can be **transferred to a CASA license via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)**.
Eligible licenses include, but are not limited to**:CAAS**, **DCAM**, etc.
- Must hold **at least one type rating**on an **Airline Transport Category Aircraft**.
- Minimum **2 years of experience**as a **Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE)**:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- **Proficient in English**(reading and writing)
