The Risk Department is responsible for upholding the risk framework, and ensuring that risks are identified, understood and managed. We are looking for a Risk Analyst with strong quantitative background to be part of the team and develop professionally alongside a fast-growing fund.

**Responsibilities**

The Risk Analyst will be responsible for expanding and maintaining our risk management capabilities, under the guidance of the Director of Risk Management. This role will involve a mix of working on new initiatives as well as day-to-day BAU.
- Monitor, analyse and explain the investment and non-investment risks of the fund.
- Develop and co-own new risk initiatives and processes to support the fund’s growth.
- Develop risk and performance analytics to provide a better understanding of the portfolio.
- Investigate the portfolio from a quantitative perspective to derive insights.
- Produce reports on an ongoing basis. Demonstrate attention to detail when checking reports and be accountable for the timely delivery of reports to stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain risk and performance data of the fund.

**Requirements**:

- An eagerness to learn and grow a career in the risk domain is necessary.
- Bachelor's Degree or Masters in a relevant discipline such as quantitative finance, financial engineering, statistics, financial mathematics, or other quantitative fields.
- 2 or more years of relevant working experience in financial analysis is preferred. Fresh graduates with strong background would be considered.
- Expertise in statistical analysis tools such as R, Python and Excel. Willing to work with data.
- Clear and critical thinking, persistent in seeking answers. Able to derive conclusions backed by both data and economic rationale.
- Strong disposition towards statistics-related concepts and techniques such as statistical distributions, regressions and simulations.
- Ownership mentality in discharging responsibilities. Reliable and resourceful with a positive attitude.
