The role

The Opportunity

This is a critical change agent at the group level who will play an integral role in leading the development and delivery of integrated communication strategies that support our HQ in Singapore and across offices globally. This position offers a good mix of strategy development & hands-on execution experience.

Key accountabilities

Communications

Communicates company core values, influences public and customer opinions, generates favorable perception and creates top-of-mind awareness for the company
Identifies and sets communication priorities that are in line with corporate and business goals
Develops and implements strategic communications programs to achieve both long-term and short-term business and brand positioning goals
Proposes and manages budget for carrying out communications activities

Marketing

Advises BUs/subsidiaries on strategic and tactical marketing plans
Supervises the production of all corporate collaterals, including brochures, videos, direct mailers, exhibition posters, customer newsletters etc
Manages all social and trade events organized by the company
Supervises the development and maintenance of web sites
Strategizes and manages publicity efforts to promote and enhance the corporate profile in tandem with the BUs/subsidiaries’ marketing goals

Investor Relations

Create and present a consistently applied investment message to the investment community on behalf of the company
Monitoring and present to management the opinions of the investment community regarding the company's performance
Establishes and maintains relationships with stock exchange representatives

Corporate Image Custodian

Maps out broad guidelines on corporate identity and branding strategies with senior management
Ensures corporate-wide adherence to the corporate identity guidelines

Public Relations

Develop and implement year-round strategic PR programs to support local and overseas business goals
Builds good rapport and relationship with the media with an aim to influence media coverage for the benefit of the company
Advises senior management and relevant teams on issues related to crisis management and business continuity
Develops by-line articles for publication in various media

Crisis Communications

Identifies and analyses issues with which the company must be concerned
Prepares a crisis communications plan to address the issues identified

Internal Communications

Supervises the production of all internal communication materials, including the intranet, extranet, internal memos by CEO and direct mailers
Supervises the organization of year-round internal communication activities to enhance two-way communication between management and staff at all levels

Skills & experience

**Requirements**:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, or Marketing Communications, or English Language
Minimum of 10 years of experience in communications, public affairs
Broad experience in strategic communication including communication planning, digital, social and print media, media & public relations, perception management and crisis management
A successful track record of developing, leading and rolling out Integrated Marketing Communications programmes
A high energy individual who is hands-on, result-oriented and self-directed
