**Job Description**:
The Group Purchasing Manager is responsible for ongoing management of purchasing strategy and activity for containerized commodities and ensuring optimal supplier performance and price. He/ she will also develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships and contract management to deliver best in class delivery of goods by the supply base.
- Demonstrated initiative to independently plan, organize, and prioritize workload taking into consideration conflicting deadlines and multiple tasks;
- Excellent interpersonal, time management, writing, organization, financial, project management, analytical, presentation, problem solving, report writing, staff leadership and communication skills;
- Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development. Strong and confident negotiator with the ability to negotiate at all levels;
- Demonstrated ability to think and interact effectively, strategically, tactfully and courteously with all levels of staff and contacts, build cooperative, collaborative working relationship with internal customers and external partnerships, to align departmental services with corporate goals/objectives;
- Able to interact effectively with senior management, with other staff at collaborative institutions, be a hands-on working supervisor, and able to work in a team environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance.
- Experience working as trader : Min 5 years in Managerial position
