Singapore Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Full time

New joiner will be part of the FCG - MAFA team to support Finance BAU and reporting tasks, including Operational Accounting, Head Office Reporting, Management Accounting and IFRS Reporting.

This is a 12 months contract role, with the option to extend for another 12 months.

a) Support IFRS BAU tasks and IFRS implementation rollout to APAC branches

b) assist in Finance BAU tasks including nostro reconciliation, systems daily close, financial and management reports and queries

c) Participate in DR drills

d) Coordinate and liaise with other teams on SOX, JSOX and any internal/external audit queries

e) Assist with annual close of local statutory financial statements and provide information per external auditors; requests,

f i) Adaptable and flexible with ad-hoc reporting responsibilities and leave cover within Finance team on Operational Accounting, Head Office reporting, Management Accounting and IFRS Reporting

**Requirements**:

- Degree/Diploma in Accountancy
- At least 3 years working experience in financial or management reporting in Bank/Non-bank Financial Institution
- Proficient in MS Office. Advanced level in Excel, basic working knowledge with Macros is a must
- Good knowledge of banking products and services
- Meticulous, with an eye for detail
- Team oriented, able to work under tight timelines
