BW Offshore is looking for a Project Materials Coordinator to join our site team in Indonesia. The position will be located in the Indonesia office and report to the Site Manager.
**Key tasks and responsibilities**
- Maintain a high standard of administrative accuracy, and control over the movement of Inventory in and out of the stores onboard. Ensure all records are accurate, transparent and up to date in the Computerized Inventory Control System / Maintenance Management System and ensure that they reflect the actual situation with regards to inventory movements;
- Receiving and preparing cargo for shipment at the cross-docking area
- Liaise with cross-docking personnel to ensure proper packaging, loading and unloading;
- Liaise with Transportation companies to ensure proper delivery, paperwork and invoicing;
- Use designated controls to interact with buyer regarding materials tracking and deliveries;
- Schedule deliveries with suppliers and customer when required;
- Monitor all material requirements and transportation legislation of the National Department of Transit DNIT and Tax Authorities / Secretaria de Fazenda and ensure control of material in motion;
- Monitor all Material and Logistic requirements for the Unit and ensure that all material and equipment’s movement to and from the Unit, by sea or air; are correctly preserved, packaged, verified, recorded and manifested in close cooperation with the applicable department onboard and onshore. This also includes return goods whether for onshore storage, scrap or recertification/calibration;
- Maintain records of rented/hired equipment on the Unit;
- According to procedure, maintain an accurate repository for Quality Assurance certificates and other relevant documentation for equipment on board;
- Carry out inventory audits and issue Inventory Audit Reports according to procedure;
- Monitor and ensure a high standard of housekeeping in your area of responsibility;
- Actively participate in Planning meetings on board to obtain information about upcoming works and activities on board;
- Provide status for materials which are required according to the Maintenance plan in line with the planning procedure to Operations and other the relevant personnel;
- Based on the Maintenance plan and inventory movement analysis, assess and advice management onboard on optimization of Min/Max levels, spare parts and consumables inventory;
- Monitor and advice management onboard with respect to timely reorder of all defined spare parts, special tools - consumables on-board, in line with the required min /max levels and upcoming requirements;
- Ensure hazardous/dangerous materials transportation and storage regulations and procedures are adhered to and documented. Control issuance and storage of health hazardous substances. Ensure Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and online chemical management program (SYPOL) are up to date and are referred to as needed;
- Support all departments with additional required input in Purchase Request (PR) / Purchase Order (PO) process, follow up on delivery dates set in the maintenance plan, confirm receipt on-board in IFS and notify the relevant department, including Life Extension and/or upgrade work on the Unit;
- Interact, coordinate, monitor and record supplied spare parts and consumables, required onboard by the Client;
- Take personal responsibility for self and colleagues and actively take initiative to continuous improvement. Be vigilant and STOP any unsafe activity;
- Take initiative in developing ideas and influencing an improved HSSEQ performance;
- Take appropriate action in event of emergency as per the role defined in the Emergency Response Plan;
- Establish good working relationships with Client, Warehouse Company, repair shops, service companies, offshore material coordinators and Brazilian authorities;
- Establish a good relationship with warehouse personnel and co-work between warehouses;

**Education**
- Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business or other HSEQ related major
- Bachelor’s degree or long relevant experience may replace formal education
**Experience**
- Minimum 5-10 years of relevant working experience within the shipping and/or offshore industr
