**Job Description
- Implement the Global Data Privacy policies, standards and procedures.
- Develop local policies or guidelines to address emerging risks with different solutions.
- Follow “Privacy by Design” concept, design and integrate the function as an approver.
- Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments to embed privacy requirements in new solutions and processes following the principles of “Privacy by Design”.
- Manage and follow up with Data Privacy matters, to enable successful navigation and compliance with company policies and applicable Data Privacy laws.
- Execute data governance policies and initiatives including data mapping, data quality and data sharing.
- End to end track and manage Data Subject Rights in coordination across business functions.
- Keep up-to-date on current and emerging trends and changes in legislation within the area of Data Privacy and applicability to the organization.
- Compile and update an organized record of all compliance activities and maintain constant reporting.
- Design and implement appropriate training & awareness activities to secure policy adherence and awareness.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant certifications in data protection such as CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPP/A, EXIN-DPO
- Good understanding of privacy principles, best practices, and industry standards such as EDPB guidelines, ISO 27701/31700, NIST Privacy Framework
- Good understanding of the GDPR/CCPA/PDPA, with at least 1-3 years of experience within this field
- Excellent communication skills; able to speak English and Mandarin (in order to liaise with Mandarin-speaking business associates and customers)
- Must have personal data protection / data privacy law working experience
- Tech-savvy, with good knowledge in information security and privacy by design and default
- Smart home hardware area working experience is preferred
