**About the opportunity**:
**Department Description**
Investment Solutions & Services (ISS) is a new alignment of existing teams that focuses on the development of investment products and services, and their distribution to wholesale, institutional, intermediaries and other B2B clients. It is managed as a separate business from Fidelity’s Platform Business which offers a range of products and services that help end investors improve their financial health.
Investment Solutions & Services (ISS) includes Investment Management teams for Equity, Fixed Income, Multi Asset and Real Estate asset classes, Distribution teams that cover UK & Europe, Asia Pacific including Japan and Australia, a global Product Development team and the COO organisation for ISS.
**Purpose of your Role**
As the **Investment Management (IM) Planning & Implementation Senior Manager **, you will be responsible for providing the analysis, recommendations and implementation support necessary realize the strategic goals of the asset management team.
Initiatives will vary immensely with evolving business needs and regulatory changes. Implementation approach and requirements will oftentimes be driven by the outcome of your analysis and recommendations. As such, there is no prescriptive methodology across all initiatives. A successful approach will be structured and methodical while maintaining the maximum level of flexibility and responsiveness to a rapidly changing input and requirements set.
Key stakeholders are the Investment Management leadership team, including the CAO, CIOs and global/regional department heads, including the Global Head of Sustainable Investing. Working closely with these stakeholders and other internal stakeholders, outstanding analytical, interpersonal and communication skills are essential to your success.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Independently develop relationships with stakeholders to understand strategic goals, analyse solutions and coordinate required resourcing to ensure goals can be achieved within agreed timescales and budgets.
- Formally engage with global change management teams to initiate projects, represent priority and provide on-going support during implementation phase.
- Learn and understand key investment processes, support functions & regulatory frameworks to represent investment management team interests in forums and projects.
- Conduct detailed analysis on operating models, processes, systems, documents and data integrations to provide both tactical and strategic improvement recommendations.
- Produce project or procedure documentation as required including business requirements/user stories, scope definition, use case analysis, process flows, solution proposals, test plans)
- Provide leadership on the execution of an implementation, work plan, or other strategic initiative
- Champion communication & collaboration across functions, asset classes and geographies.
- Identify, raise and analyse causes of key risks and issues.
- Provide ongoing and Ad-hoc reporting to support senior management decision making.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and other meetings / communications
- Identify, communicate and resolve key issues and risks as required
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders and partner functions / vendors
- Some travel within Asia and globally may be required from time to time
**Experience and Qualifications Required**
- 7+ years of relevant experience as a business analyst, project manager or consultant with financial institutions or consultancies
- Experience delivering impact assessment, process design, test coordination and vendor management
- Excellent problem solving and presentation skills
- Collaborative team player and self-starter, with flexibility to work under a culturally-diverse environment
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Ability to digest complex regulatory rules and translate these to practical business solutions
- Previous experience in working with virtual / offshore teams across multiple jurisdictions
- Understanding of project management & business analysis methodologies
- Strong influencing skills
- SQL / Database query capability valued
- Proficient in MS Office
- Fluent in English
