WHO ARE WE?At Suntory Beverage and Food, we boldly move forward together to realize the dreams of becoming a world-leading next-generation global beverage company - you are an important part of this and here’s how your role helps us win.This position plays an important role in shaping the Ribena and future brand’s future, driving innovation and strategy, and ensuring the brand portfolio meetings the ever-evolving demands of our Seikatsusha and market while aligning with organizational goal.This role is critical in ensuring the food safety and quality requirements for ingredients and packaging are met by following the auditing, developing, implementing, monitoring and continuously improving the suppliers for the Suntory Beverage & Food Asia Pacific (SBFAP) business. This position will also be responsible to actively collaborate with international teams within Suntory group to improve the overall Suntory supply quality management system.HOW YOU CAN ADD VALUE?**Supplier Quality Assurance**
- Responsible for ensuring SBFAP suppliers are meeting the highest standards for quality, food safety and compliance.
- Undertake risk assessment for all new ingredients and suppliers in accordance with regional and global standards. Ensure plans are in place to mitigate them and improve control.
- Perform supplier onsite audits, follow up on RCA-CAPAs to close out audit findings. Liaise with external auditing vendors for planning, execution and follow-ups of outsourced audits
- Actively collaborate with local and other regional teams within Suntory for driving the Suntory Global Supply Quality Assurance program. Collect periodic data and create scorecards for program compliance.
- Identify emerging risks and ensure plans are in place to anticipate and mitigate those risks
- Liaise between internal teams (e.g. RA, R&D) and supplier to gather all relevant documentation for review and recordkeeping.
- Ensure all supplier certifications, specifications and other documents are maintained as per standard and up to date in the relevant databases

**Regional Quality Initiatives**
- Provide training and guidance to local BUs on regional initiatives for Quality/ Supply Quality
- Follow up and keep BUs on track with action plans for regional quality initiatives
- Create and implement robust monitoring plan for food safety/quality/food fraud monitoring; liaise with external labs, review test reports, create and distribute scorecards to local BUs
- Contribute to regional and global Suntory Quality and Food Safety initiatives including strategy, key priorities, main standards and guidelines

**System support**
- Setup and maintain approved supplier database system
- QA raw/packing materials Lead for SBFAP specifications management system (Optiva).
- Responsible for budget management for relevant items, include SAP transactional support
ARE YOU THE ONE?- Minimum Bachelors’ degree in Food Science/Chemistry/related discipline
- At least 6-8 years relevant Product Quality, Food Safety and Quality Management system knowledge and experience in food manufacturing environment
- Supplier Quality Assurance knowledge
- Strong auditing skills and experience in food manufacturing
- Knowledge of Quality standards such as FSSC22000, AIB
- Understands hygienic rules and principles for food productions (PRPs, HACCP, GMP, EMP etc)
- Strong working knowledge of Microbiology, Physical and Chemical testing
- Experience with bottling operations desirable
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, SAP
- Fluency in English is must. Basic or advanced knowledge of Mandarin (or other foreign languages) would be preferable
