Quality Assurance Technician

**Overview**:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required:

- Inspects and approves incoming materials to determine conformance to customer specifications and technical drawings, manufacturer's specifications, assembly manuals requirements, company processes and procedures and other such specifications and requirements (20%)
- Perform visual and functional testing using measurement equipment while following operating instructions and calibration requirements. (20%)
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizes re-work and waste, and inputs data into quality database. Maintains data and logs on data quality, returned material, supplier information, nonconformance. (20%)
- Rewraps/repackages product after inspection utilizing proper material handling techniques and equipment to minimize damages. (20%)
- Rejection and returning of unacceptable materials. Prepares required product return documentation to supplier for failure analysis and monitors corrective action response. (20%)

Other Duties & Responsibilities:

- Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements, and calling for repairs.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
- Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area
- Completes assigned tasks in regards to reports and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
- Additional duties as assigned
- Meets attendance and punctuality standards

**Qualifications**:
**Experience**:

- 1 to 3 Years of relevant work experience.

Education & Certifications:

- High School Graduate with Electronics / IT Hardware Field of Study preferred.
- High School Graduate with General Studies field of study required.
- Other Education / Certifications: A+, IPC

Working Conditions:

- Clean room environment requiring ESD protection.
- Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.

- Able to be immobile for long extended periods.
- Ability to transport 60 Lbs.

- Able to quickly learn new systems and technology.
