As a plasma machine operator for air-condition ducting manufacturing, your primary responsibility would be to operate and maintain a plasma cutting machine used in the production of air-conditioning ductwork.

**Duties and responsibilities:
Your job duties may include:

- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to determine the dimensions and tolerances of the ductwork to be produced.
- Setting up the plasma cutting machine by installing the necessary tools, selecting the appropriate cutting parameters, and programming the machine using computer numerical control (CNC) software.
- Operating the plasma cutting machine to cut metal sheets into the desired shapes and sizes for the air-conditioning ductwork.
- Inspecting the quality of the cut pieces to ensure they meet the required specifications, and making adjustments to the cutting parameters as needed.
- Performing routine maintenance on the plasma cutting machine, such as cleaning and replacing worn parts, to ensure it operates efficiently.
- Keeping track of inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.
- Adhering to safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.

**Requirements
To be successful as a plasma machine operator for air-condition ducting manufacturing, you should have:

- A strong Plasma machine & mechanical aptitude and technical skills, with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in using Duct CAM software to program and operate the plasma cutting machine.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with other members of the production team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods of time, as well as lift and move heavy materials.
