Vice President, Senior Business Analyst, Agmd-ril

The incumbent will be responsible for engaging stakeholders and product managers to gather and analyze business requirements across various banking segments. You will translate these requirements into products/services with associated ROI, outline system changes for the IT department or third-party vendors and oversee the delivery. Additionally, you will support initiatives aimed at enhancing business growth, improving operational efficiency, and delivering innovative financial solutions for customers.

**The Role**

A team member in the Asia Growing Markets Department - Research & Innovation Lab (AGMD-RIL), the incumbent will be responsible for engaging stakeholders and product managers to gather and analyze business requirements across various banking segments. You will translate these requirements into products/services with associated ROI, outline system changes for the IT department or third-party vendors and oversee the delivery. Additionally, you will support initiatives aimed at enhancing business growth, improving operational efficiency, and delivering innovative financial solutions for customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders in Business Banking, Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, and Treasury to identify needs and challenges.
- Serve as a liaison to synergize business units and IT teams on requirements, activities and deliveries.
- Elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements through interviews, workshops, and surveys.
- Analyze existing processes and systems to identify gaps and inefficiencies and propose actionable plan and enhancements.
- Translate business requirements into clear specifications and user stories for delivery in Agile or waterfall methodologies.
- Map and document business processes using tools like BPMN, Flowcharts, or Value Stream Mapping.
- Analyze data and financial metrics to perform cost/benefit analyses and calculate return on investment (ROI).
- Ensure compliance of business requirements and solutions with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Regularly update and engage stakeholders on project status, timelines, risks, and issues.
- Assist in quality assurance and implementation by contributing to test and implementation strategies.

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent with a minimum 8+ years of working experience in gathering, documenting, and analysing business requirements using various techniques (interviews, workshops, surveys).
- Proficient in mapping and documenting business processes and translating complex business requirements into clear specifications and user stories for Agile or waterfall delivery.
- Possess strong analytical skills to perform cost/benefit analysis and evaluate return on investment (ROI).
- Possess excellent communication skills to liaise effectively between business units and technical teams, ensuring alignment and management of requirements.
- Familiar with regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the banking sector.
- Ability to manage and prioritize large workloads and deliver within tight deadlines.
- Ability to appreciate diverse cultures and facilitate smooth communications between Head Office, Singapore office and entities.
