JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Support the maintenance of the BW.Land codebase under the guidance of senior team members.
- Assist in optimizing and enhancing Three.Js rendering and game loop functionality.
- Collaborate closely with the design team to gather feedback and contribute to project discussions.
- Contribute to the development of a Three.JS scene editor
- Assist in the maintenance and improvement of the BWLand scene editor and metaverse engine
- Participate in improving camera viewport, orbit functionality, and scene performance
- Assist in the deployment and publication of scenes to the live environment via cloud infrastructure.
- Support the development and enhancement of tracking metric modules
- Contribute to the development of desktop and browser-compatible versions of BWLand
- Learn and adhere to established policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and documentation practices.
- Collaborate with senior team members to adapt existing APIs and modules for client projects.
- Monitor systems and assist in troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Assist in loading frontend objects and maintaining backend databases
- Adhere to the principles of source code management

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while contributing to the development and maintenance of innovative software solutions. Your supervisor will provide guidance and support as you grow in your role as a Software Development Intern.

JOB REQUIREMENT
- **Educational Background**: Embarking on Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Relevant coursework or projects demonstrating proficiency in programming concepts is beneficial.
- **Understanding of Web Technologies**: Familiarity with web development technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential.
- **Basic Knowledge of Three.JS**: Some exposure to Three.JS or other JavaScript libraries for 3D rendering and animation would be advantageous.
- **Collaborative Skills**: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate ideas clearly with peers and supervisors.
- **Problem-Solving Abilities**: Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to pay attention to detail and ensure accuracy in coding and implementation tasks.
- **Adaptability**: Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and learn new tools and techniques as needed.
- **Understanding of Version Control Systems**: Basic understanding of version control systems such as Git for code management and collaboration.
- **Interest in Emerging Technologies**: Curiosity and interest in exploring emerging technologies, particularly in the areas of web3, metaverse, and NFTs.
- **Strong Work Ethic**: Demonstrated commitment to meeting deadlines, taking initiative, and continuously improving skills and knowledge.
- **Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle**: Basic understanding of software development lifecycle processes and methodologies.
- **Legal and Ethical Awareness**: Awareness of legal and ethical considerations in software development, including data privacy and security principles.

Pay: $500.00 - $1,200.00 per month
