**About the Role**

Reporting to the Director, Division of Community Outreach & Philanthropy, you will provide leadership in developing and executing strategic partnerships that align with NCCS's vision and mission. You will play a crucial role in fostering a giving culture while developing long-term relationships with donors and supporters. The role involves formulating directions and policies for the Centre's fundraising and development plan, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.

**Some of the Key Responsibilities Include**
- Develop and cultivate community partnerships at national, corporate, and individual levels
- Lead corporate sponsorship initiatives and prepare tailored donor proposals
- Support the Board of Trustees of NCC Research Fund and Institution Fund Committee of NCCS Cancer Fund
- Ensure good governance in fund disbursement and collection
- Maintain accountability standards and compliance with ethical principles
- Manage team performance and staff development
- Collaborate with Corporate Communications on public relations and fundraising materials
- Oversee grant and donor management
- Participate in Centre's events and activities
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

**Job Requirements**
- University Degree or equivalent
- At least 3 years of direct fundraising experience
- Experience working with Senior Volunteers and/or Committee Members
- Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with Academic or Medical Leaders will be an advantage
- Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) or equivalent will be an asset
