Senior Officer / Officer, Resource Management, RDM

[What the role is]

Supervise and perform daily operations to ensure smooth receiving, processing, delivery and quality control of library materials to meet internal clients, fulfill the administrative functions and procurement needs of the team.

This role supports the smooth operations of the team in the team’s delivery towards NLB’s comprehensive collection and contributes to NLB’s strategic thrusts of Delivering Rich SG Content and Delivery Effective Services.

[What you will be working on]
- Supervise and manage daily operations of Material Management
- Manage vendors and internal clients on delivery and inventorisation of library materials
- Provide guidance and support to staff and temps when they encounter issues at work
- Conduct control/quality checks to ensure processing standards are met and according to processing guidelines
- Ensure items are received, processed and handled in a proper manner, especially for rare and special collections and handled in compliance with requirements by internal clients and service standards
- Manage turnaround time on receiving, processing and delivery of library materials
- Collation of statistics and KPIs from staff and vendors
- Prepare tracking reports
- Oversee team handling of gift enquiries and offers of publications
- Verify and certify claims and invoices
- Plan and monitor department budget
