**What you'll do**:

- Validating accuracy of data/dashboard provided by BI team
- Review production database queries log
- Automate and flag anomalies
- Review and ensure adequate coverage of VPN logs etc
- Database anomalies detection (technical)
- Look into MDM set up and logs
- 3rd-party tool accesses and logs review
- Look out for unauthorized data exports
- Set up external duplicate logging for mission critical sysops operations.
- Audit log reviews, assisting enforcement of need-to-know and least privilege principles
- Detect and assist in preventing unauthorized data exports and exfiltration.
- Discover potentially damaging actions or mistakes.
- Identify potential threat actors, assess risk, mitigate and develop cost effective preventative controls and countermeasures.
- Contribute to the development of internal detection tools.
- Develop and maintain familiarity with Company products and services, and related data

**What you’ll need**:

- Experience with AWS Cloudfront and Cloudtrail and/or similar technologies.
- The ability to understand and monitor fraud trends and to analyze problems logically/make rational data driven decisions.
- Experience in software development will be advantageous or experienced in the use of programming/scripting languages to analyze large datasets or create automations.
- Extensive SQL experience is required for this position.
- Experience in similar roles, internal auditing, fraud detection, log analysis, data analysis.
- Strong IT skills over a wide range of competencies - for instance: Google workspace, networking, mobile device management (MDM), AWS, automation and scripting.
- Javascript fluency an added advantage
- A collaborative and resourceful individual with excellent communication skills able to make radical decisions while being empathetic and respectful.
- We value knowledge & skills over paper qualifications.
- Comfortable working remotely via telecommuting. We will be working closely via Slack video calls and other collaboration tools.
